Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me. As a child, I have always enjoyed exploring woods and forests. I was fascinated by the diversity of life that existed in such areas, and I wanted to know more about it.
As I grew older, my interest in nature only deepened. I joined the young zoologist association of Sri Lanka to learn more about Animals and their ecology. I learned about the many threats facing our planet’s biodiversity. I realized that photography could be a powerful tool for raising awareness about these issues, and I started to take my hobby more seriously.
Over time, I developed my skills as a photographer and began to share my work with others. I joined online communities where I could connect with other nature enthusiasts, and I started to contribute my photos to stock image websites like Adobe and Shutterstock.
Despite these successes, however, photography remains first and foremost a hobby for me. It’s a way for me to stay connected to the natural world and to share its beauty with others. Whether I’m capturing images of rare birds or simply enjoying the peace of a quiet forest, photography is an essential part of my life.
